Screen Size
Screen size selection is important so that congregants can comfortably see the presented images and text. A screen image that's too large for the space is hard on the eyes and strains the neck as the head turns from side to side to view information. Too small a screen means text is hard to read. Placement of projectors and screens must work together with the anticipated congregation size and seating arrangement.
To begin figuring the optimum vertical height of the screen, determine the measurement of the farthest seat in the room from the screen. The vertical height of the screen is determined by dividing this distance by six for text or by eight for moving video. If both text and video are to be used then a median divisor value of seven could be used. So for example if the farthest seat is 65 feet from the screen then the optimum vertical height would be 63’ / 7 = 9 feet tall.
The next decision affecting screen size is aspect ratio of the images and text to
be displayed. A 4:3 proportion was for many years the standard for presentations,
such as PowerPoint-
